Acceptable Use & Network Integrity
Our network is a shared resource, engineered for high performance across Qatar’s busiest hubs—from the business districts of West Bay to the growing communities in Lusail. The Acceptable Use Policy exists not to restrict creativity, but to guarantee capacity and security for all users. You’re free to use our services for personal expression, business operations, and smart home management; what we cannot permit are actions that degrade the experience for others or expose the network to risk.
Prohibited activities include running unauthorized servers that saturate bandwidth, attempting to breach our security protocols, or using our services to distribute malicious software. We also monitor for patterns that indicate compromised devices participating in botnets. In simple terms: if an activity disrupts service for your neighbors or puts customer data at risk, it falls outside these terms. We reserve the right to take immediate technical measures to isolate threats, but we will always attempt to notify you and provide a path to remediation unless immediate action is required to protect the network.
For business clients, these terms extend to managing your own users and ensuring that your internal policies align with our acceptable use standards. A breach by one of your employees could impact your entire organization’s connectivity. We provide the pipe—you manage your users. That’s the partnership.
Privacy, Data, and Your Information
Your privacy isn’t an afterthought—it’s a core requirement for operating a telecom service in Qatar. While we collect necessary operational data (like signal strength, device identifiers, and usage patterns) to maintain and optimize our network, we do not sell your personal information to third parties. That’s a hard line. Our data practices are governed by our separate Privacy Policy, but the key principle to understand here is that we use your data to improve your service, not to monetize your behavior.
We do not inspect the content of your private communications unless legally compelled or technically necessary to resolve a service issue (e.g., diagnosing a protocol error). Encryption is applied end-to-end where supported by your device and the services you connect to. For business clients, we offer private APN and VPN options to add another layer of isolation for corporate traffic. These terms affirm your right to expect that your data remains yours, and that our role is to transport it securely, not to exploit it.
Liability, Service Levels, and Limitations
We strive for 99.9% uptime across our core network, but absolute perfection isn’t a realistic promise in a dynamic physical environment. Weather, construction, and rare hardware failures can impact service. These terms outline what we’re responsible for—and just as importantly, what we aren’t. We guarantee the integrity of our infrastructure up to the point it connects to your modem or device; we cannot guarantee the performance of third-party websites, apps, or your home Wi-Fi router, which are outside our direct control.
Liability is capped to the amount you’ve paid us in the preceding billing cycle. We are not liable for indirect damages like lost business revenue, missed deadlines, or data loss resulting from a service interruption. This isn’t to diminish our commitment—it’s a necessary boundary for a sustainable service model. If we fail to meet our stated service levels, you’re entitled to credits as outlined in your specific service plan. We document outages transparently and proactively notify affected customers.
Force majeure clauses apply to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or major upstream provider failures. In these rare scenarios, our focus is on rapid restoration and clear communication.
